Within the framework of the Conakry Sanitation Project (PAC), the Tunisian-Malian consortium CONCEPT-CIRA went to Conakry in January 2021 after the approval of the APS update studies in view of the effective start of the APD studies. This PAC is based on three interdependent components (rainwater drainage component, water management component solid waste et volet traitement de boue de vidange) visant à assainir durablement les deux communes de Ratoma and of Matoto.
This sanitation mission was the subject of participatory meetings, in which CONCEPT reviewed the guiding principles governing the progress of the project, in the presence of UGPAC officials and communal officials including the mayor of each of the two communes, and field visits that identified the priority areas to be undertaken.
