Through optimized water management, this project is expected to enhance food security and boost the local economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During his speech, the governor emphasized:<br>\u2714 The importance of this priority project for the region.<br>\u2714 The need for stronger coordination among all stakeholders<br>\u2714 Adhering to deadlines for effective implementation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Secretary-General of the Governorate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Members of the People\u2019s Representatives Assembly\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regional and local delegates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Representatives of agricultural and fishing unions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical officials and local elected representatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CONCEPT\/COBA\/AGER project team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In brief:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A transformative project for agriculture:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Laaroussia Grand Canal plays a crucial role in irrigating 27,000 hectares in the lower basin of the Medjerda River, with an impressive flow rate of 13 m\u00b3 per second.
