ACTUALISATION DE L’ETUDE DE PROTECTION CONTRE LES INONDATIONS DE LA VILLE DE BIZERTE

Update of the Protection against floods (hydrological study, hydraulic study) carried out in 1993 by the ministère de l’équipement .
Urbanization has since invaded the watersheds, reducing available land and increasing impervious surfaces.
The alignment and dimensions proposed by the 1993 study are to be verified on the basis of the new field data and particularly the most recent urban development plan. Total area of the basin: 20.50 km2

Description of services actually rendered:

Area of Interest characterization visits and diagnosis of the existing networks and structures.

Consultation and analysis of previous studies.

Critique of the existing study of the study area.

Updating of the database and the establishment of the new necessary data for the study.

Delimitation of watersheds, hydrological study and estimation of peak runoff for different return periods.

Proposal and study of several alternative solutions, hydraulic modeling and sizing of the projected structures for each alternative

Establishment of measurements and cost estimates for each variant and technical-economic comparison of the proposed solutions.

Detailed study of the variant retained by the customer.

Elaboration of detailed plans
