RAINWATER DRAINAGE SCHEME IN 12 REGIONAL CAPITAL CITIES OF BURKINA FASO AND ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL ASSESSMENT, LOT 1 : BOBO-DIOULASSO ; BANFORA ; GAOUA


The purpose of the study is to analyze different alternatives at the scale of the overall city development in order to identify optimal drainage solutions that will minimize the negative impacts of runoff from rainwater on people and property. The solutions must respect the criteria defined at the watershed scale and take into account the constraints related to the land use that is envisaged for the 2035 horizon.
The objective of this study is to develop for each of the twelve (3) cities concerned Burkina Faso a master plan for stormwater drainage "SDDEP


Diagnostic des lieux avec les données de bases (identification des zones inondables avec les raisons pour les inondations et les mesures de mitigation) ;
L’évaluation des besoins en contrôle pour l’atteinte des objectifs qui auront été identifiés en fonction des analyses hydrauliques et structurelles spécifiques effectuées pour le schéma directeur de drainage des eaux pluviales
Préparation et analyse des méthodes alternatives de réduction des inondations sont proposées (zones tampon/ basins de rétention à multiusager tel que les aires de sport, surface de voirie perméables,…)
Proposer le schéma général de drainage des eaux pluviales
Proposer le schéma général de drainage des eaux pluviales
Elaboration des fiches de projet pour les actions prioritaires à mettre en œuvre
Proposer des études socio-environnementales
